McLennan Republicans Support SNAP During Government Shutdown

Posted October 29, 2025 in

The SNAP Program feeds more than 41 million people, or one out of eight Americans. But on Saturday, November 1, 2025, this will all come to a standstill thanks to the Schumer Democrat Shutdown. For the 13th time, Senate Democrats have rejected voting for the Republican proposed Clean CR which would re-open the Government and re-instate these important food benefits.

McLennan County Republican Party wants to help feed McLennan residents during this time of uncertainty. We need you to help us do that by donating to the Robinson Food Pantry in one of two ways. To find out more about the Robinson Food Pantry, go to this link:

The Robinson Food Pantry will be open Saturday, Nov. 1 from 9am to 11am.
Please help us make sure they have enough food to help all those that need it.

Donate cash directly to Robinson Food Bank at this link, so they can purchase the extra food they need:
