Election Day Checklist

Election Day Checklist

  1. Know where to go vote. There is a list or you can click the map to find the location closest to you. Remember you can vote at ANY center in McLennan County. Click here to find where to vote.
  2. Know that you have correct ID to vote. If you have a Texas Driver License, Texas Concealed Handgun License or other government issued picture ID, you’re good to go. There are other options. Click here for more information.
  3. Know who you will be voting for. You’ll need to know your voting precinct to locate your ballot. If you don’t, call HQ between 10am-3pm or call the Elections Office. Click here for sample ballots.
  4. Take friends with you to vote. Call them to remind them to vote.
  5. VERY IMPORTANT: Check the Summary Page to make sure your selections are correct BEFORE pushing the Cast Ballot button. You can go back and make corrections. If you have trouble ask the judge for assistance. Once you hit Cast Ballot, the vote cannot be corrected.
  6. Pick up your “I Voted” sticker to remind everyone you see for the rest of the day to vote.
  7. Come to our Election Night Watch Party at Buzzard Billy’s and bring candy for the parade on Friday. Click here for details about the party.
